KingTrap

Games by player configuration

How the games break down between human and computer players.

Game length

Plies per finished game. Nothing is captured, so length is driven by how fast a king gets cornered.

Where kings get trapped

The square the losing king stood on. Back-rank squares dominate: a king steps off e1 or e8, the backtrack rule bars the return, and the rim leaves only five neighbours.

Opening moves

First move of each game.

Standings

Every player, human and computer. Rate counts a draw as half a point.
